17' ONE OF A KIND KAYAK WITH CUSTOM COVER AND DRY SKIRT

Ever wonder if a wood kayak can be made indestructible? This one is about as close to that has possible. This one of a kind boat was designed and built by an Anacortes local. You won't find another like it. In incredible condition and fitted with an ocean cockpit, this boat sports an epoxy reinforced bow, stern and keel. All boat seams are reinforced with epoxy. The cockpit cowling is also secured via epoxy. So, fear no more bumping into hard surfaces and structures. The epoxy hardened edges and surfaces can take it.
When you slip into this very sleek boat via the ocean cockpit, which isn't for everyone, you wear this craft like a fighter pilot wears his jet. This vessel does not have foot pegs. The low deck allows for bracing with the top of your thighs.
This boat is so custom the cockpit cover and dry skirt had to be custom made by SnapDragon. But here is the best custom feature - A hand carved seat crafted from old growth cedar. And it fits like a glove! The designer/builder stated the seat took as long to craft as did the boat itself. And while carving it, his shop continually smelled like freshly sharpened pencils.
I've enjoyed owning this impressive not to be duplicated vessel but it's time to make room for other boats and boards.
