    Description

    This auction is for an original 1920s AIR-WAY Electric Appliance Corporation, radio tube socket with Bakelite base and metal socket shell.   Described in the Alan Douglas book as the "light weight, positive contact tube socket".     Includes all four original wire connection binding posts.
    This socket is in good original condition with no damage.   Fit tested with a type 201A tube, tube is easily inserted and removed.   No other functional testing performed.   Excellent for a restoration or radio build project.
    This is an original antique part in original condition.   Has not been "cleaned" and may show signs of dirt or tarnish.
