Up for bids is a great looking 1922 RCA Aeriola Sr. Amplifier.
Manufactured by Westinghouse and distributed by RCA, the Aeriola Sr. Amplifer is a two tube amplifier designed specifically for use with the Aeriola Sr.
(available in another listing).
The mahogany wood case is in very good condition.  The top panel has a small amount of "alligatoring" to the finish and a hairline crack but is solid and secure.
The molded Micarta black panel is in excellent shape.   The chassis is clean and complete.  All original binding posts are intact.
The original transformers have one good primary.  The other primary and both secondary windings are open.
The instruction sheet in the lid appears to be original.
The radio comes with two identical RCA WD-11 display tubes.
This great looking vintage radio measures 8.5 inches by 7.25 inches by 7 inches deep.
Both WD-11 display tubes will be securely protected inside the sockets to ensure they arrive safely.
