Early wood panel
version.
Up for bids is an Aeriola Sr. one-tube radio
manufactured by Westinghouse for RCA
in late 1921 or early 1922.
This is an early version of the Aeriola Senior
with a black painted wood panel.   The panel
shows minor flaking of the paint around the
tube socket.
The early version of the instruction sheet
(with no mention of RCA) appears to be
original and has the correct code in the bottom
right hand corner.
An early lime gettered RCA WD-11 display tube
is included.
The cabinet has some dark staining on the front
left side corner.  Otherwise it's in good condition
and is smooth to the touch.
All moving cabinet and panel parts function
as they should.   The transformer is open.
Dimensions of this very nice 1922 Aeriola Senior
one tube receiver are 7 1/4 inches deep,
8 1/2 inches wide & 7 inches tall.
The RCA WD-11 display tube will be securely
protected inside the socket to ensure it arrives safely.
