This listing is for a WDW Disney Pirates of the Caribbean Coin Bank. This is the original version that was first released at the park with lights, sound, and colorful jewels (a later version was released that did not have colorful jewels and did not talk).  This hard plastic coin bank features a skull with a pirate hat and eye patch. The skull is on a pile of coins with colored jewels. The front also has 2 crossed swords and the
Pirates of the Caribbean
attraction font logo.
There is a push button by the blue gem on top that plays the haunting phrase, "Dead Men Tell No Tales". The phrase and light-up eye can also be activated by inserting a coin into the slot.
Requires (3) AA size batteries which are NOT included.
The switch at the bottom of the bank can be moved to Try Me, On, or Off mode.
Size is approximately 7" tall x 8" wide x 8.5" base front to back.
This was released briefly in 2004 and has long since been retired!
This bank is NEW - never used nor displayed - from an adult collector and works great and is in excellent condition!
