    Description

    Presented is an antique, American coin silver wine or water goblet or chalice made by Jones, Shreve, Brown & Company of Boston during the mid 19th century. The inside of the cup and base have a light hand hammered finish. The goblet is done in a classic form and the front has a hand engraved inscription that reads: Frd Parker to Thos Nye Jr. 1856.
    The underside of the cup is marked Jones, Shreve, Brown & Co, pure coin and Boston.
    This piece is in excellent condition, especially for its age.
