    ANTIQUE ATWATER KENT MODEL 40/42 TUBE RADIO With SPEAKER! WORKS!.  Antique Atwater Kent Breadbox Tube Radio, metal box from the late 1920s, The ID, serial number badge on the frame under the tuning bars says model 40 but on the power supply at the rear of the unit is badged model 42 so I am unsure what to call it or possibly parts were taken from one to unit to make a working unit.  This one does work, it picks up 4 AM stations here in Salt Lake City without the use of an external antenna,  The metal box is in very good condition with no dents, the Atwater Kent badge on top is in good condition, the box has good color but does have some surface rust.  The cathedral style speaker also works, sounds good and the patina of the wood is very good.  The speaker will be shipped separate in its own box.
