Description
For Sale:This 1957 Conn 80A cornet is a great example of these wonderful horns.
It’s in very good condition for a 65 year old horn. All slides work well including the “opera glass” micro tuning slide. Plating on the valves is good, compression is good, valve action is smooth. It’s been professionally cleaned and valve corks have been replaced.
Brass with nickel accents.
There are a few minor dings, including on both sides of the bow,
but nothing major. Bell is in great shape. Lacquer is in very good condition (95%?). Includes hard case which is rough, but usable. Latches close, but neither spring works. Includes original hang tag, vintage valve grip, lyre, and slide grease.
