    Description

You are bidding on an Eisemann Magneto Corp, Resistance Adaptor, new old stock in its original box.  This is an unusual bakelite item which I have not encountered before, and I'm not sure how it was used.  Since it only has the Eisemann name it should be from late 1923, before joining with Freed to produce the popular Freed-Eisemann sets.  It resembles an adapter to use a UV 199 tube in a 201-A socket, but has no pins.  Two loose wires come out the side at the bottom, and there are three contacts inside, one connecting to the side pin.  A bakelite based UV 199 tube will not fit inside, as it is too large.  So, I would call it a mystery item....no wonder it is still new in its original box.
It is an unique item for a collection of early radio accessories
.  Shipping weight is 8 ounces.  Please see my other auctions for more interesting radio and audio items, and tubes.
