    Description

    Presented is a fine sterling silver gilt double-handled cup.  The cup was made
    by Theodore Starr of New York City.  The cup has a great applied border on its
    lower rim that's decorated with wonderful Art Nouveau flowers in pretty swirls.
    The inside has a nice gold wash.  The front is monogrammed with the initials SCG
    in flourished cursive script.
    The underside is marked STERLING and Theodore B. Starr for the maker.
    The condition is excellent.  There is mild surface wear on the inside,
    commensurate with age and light use.  There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits,
    no dents, no monogram removals and no repairs.
    The cup measures about 5 3/4 inches from handle to handle and 2 1/2 inches
    tall.
    The cup weighs 6.0 ounces or 170.1 grams.
