    This leaflet was apparently printed in conjunction with the retirement of the 'Graf Zeppelin' which took place
    18 June, 1937
    .  Just prior to this date the on
    May 6, 1937
    , the airship 'Hindenburg' burned and crashed at Lakehurst, N.J.  This shattered the public's faith in the use of hydrogen filled airships, which led to the retirement of the 'Graf Zeppelin' on
    May 6, 1937
    .
    The 'Graf Zeppelin' was scrapped in March, 1940 for the German war effort.
