    Description

    Traditional Taino artwork is handmade uniting fire and clay as a sign of respect to the Taino Indians. The Taino Indians were a group of pre-Columbian indigenous people who inhabited the Bahamas , Greater Antilles and part of the Lesser Antilles. These people centered on the worship of gods, spirits, or ancestors.
    This figure is known as the Goddess of the Moon.
    Condition is very good. Tiny ding on nose and right bottom of headwear, pictured.
