Kangxi Chinese Porcelain Butterfly Charger Plate around 13.38 inch across front of plate and across back bottom across with curve 34cm across (1644)-into1700's possibly made earlier and is a
period piece when Double Glazed Green Enamil Butterfly Patterns (Imperial Famille Verte) were produced. This may have been requested to be
made for a possible big Imperial Celebration since the butterflys are in red and seal is also red. When this was looked at the opinion given was told that yes the marking is Archaic Seal and it looks Kangxi from period Showing on bottom plate.The Rare Red Archaic 6 Seal Mark at first people do assume thats not the normal coloring used on a seal but should not dismiss a piece because on special occasion this has been known at rare times to be done even during special occasions. The last 2 marking symbols are Nian Zhi period Kangxi. I have no other information on this piece and Im not responcible for any contradicting info given about this piece after bought...no other info given. As Is Condition when bought or Bid on. Natural Marbling on back.
