Kayak L.L. Bean Manatee

L.L. Bean "Manatee" kayak
, approximately 9' 6" long, including a kayak paddle and cockpit shroud for storage.
This is a previous model of what Bean still brands as its "Manatee" offering. The updated version includes added features such as a cup holder, water tight storage compartment in rear deck, etal. Check the L.L. Bean website for a full description of the updated "Manatee." This one is the basic kayak.
Characteristics include: 1. a single molded seat with adjustable back rest,  2. rubber carry handles mounted on both bow and stern of the boat,  3. generous sized cockpit,  4. adjustable internal foot rests,  5. a rear threaded drain plug on top of stern,  6. lightweight rear bungee straps for on deck storage,  7. stern and bow inflation inserts,  8. overall empty weight is around 40 pounds,  9. capacity of no more than 300 pounds, although I think that's pushing it a bit (I weigh around 230 pounds and stand about 6 feet tall and it has fit me well!).
Boat is tight with no leaks. Hull is solid with normal scratching from shore landings. Kayak paddle is double-ended and separates in the center for easier portability. LL Bean identifies the color as "mango."
Price is firm: 0.00. Shipping is not available. Pick-up can be arranged in the Keene area of New Hampshire, but I will deliver within a reasonable distance of Keene (contact me for specifics).

This is a nice, solid boat that I have used in calm water situations -- I particularly enjoy birding and accordingly exploring marshy areas (wild bird habitats) where a shorter kayak is more maneuverable and easier to turn around.  Ready to go -- needs nothing!
