Martin Imperial Cornet 1941 Rare in Silver Lion Bell - Parts or Repair  Bore: .450 - Serial# 138***
UYB has gone through the pile on Feb. 1, 21... so watch for new auction listings and bulk parts horns... Organizing and labeling all horns in storage this week. I will have cornets, trumpets, alto horns, french horns Euphoniums and trombones in original AS-IS and dirty, not play ready condition.
I see a fair amount of these horns in brass, but rarely in silver. Lead-pipe is cracked and will need a patch or replacement, missing one valve guide. Valves are in very nice condition and overall this is a great rebuild/restore project. This will be a better project for someone else right now, if I find a parts horn with a valve guide the listing will be cancelled and off to BAC for a new lead-pipe. I'm sure Martin collectors out there will have the 3 prong valve guides. As-Is not in playable condition.
This instrument has not been cleaned or repaired, it is sold AS-IS for parts or repair.
***Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case.

If your instrument is damaged during shipping, you must take a picture of the box with external damage, the packaging and the damage to the case and or instrument.
