With a kayak this packable, you’ll be able get out there and educate yourself (and a friend!) on what the world looks like. The Twain is ideal for lake settings – whether you’re out for a recreation day paddle, or you’re on a week-long canoe trip exploring a series of lakes.

The Twain excels at lakes, ocean, and Flat – Class 1 water with your two or four-legged friend, hauling all the gear in the world, or just finding a patch of still water to let nature fill your soul. The Twain is engineered to remain stable due to a flat hull profile, medium-sized rocker, and track straight with the removable tracking fin.
    CONSTRUCTION & MATERIAL
    The Twain features our 210 denier TPU Nylon sidewalls and proprietary 840 denier TPU Nylon floor. The seams are first stitched and then welded with double-reinforced 1 in (2.5 cm) wide seam tape. Additionally, the pontoon-to-floor attachment point is glued to the sidewall and then reinforced with v-seam tape around the entire interior of the packraft.
    The 4 in (10.2 cm) thick Inflatable Seats are made from 210 denier Diamond-Ripstop Nylon and use a Stem Valve. This keeps you comfortable and improves paddling position which allows for deeper, more efficient paddle strokes.
    For the main front and rear pontoon valves, the Twain features a Leafield D7 valve, the most durable and bomber valve on the planet. Used in all full-size rafts, the Leafield is made from roto-molded plastic and is threaded and screwed together, not welded or glued. Meaning your valve will never come un-welded or fall apart. The Leafield D7 also easily integrates with the all new TRiB airCap, Feather Pump or our Inflation Tube, Inflation Bag, and Foot Pump with Pressure Gauge.
    We used in class II & III white water.  This would
    not
    be our choice to use in class III again!  But was acceptable in II.  Tracks straight and is incredibly fast on flat water for a raft of any kind.  Write me with any questions.  We carried these on our bikes and backs and even had two bikes and two adults on them for flat water sections.
