This Inflatable kayak is pretty cool. Look up quality inflatable kayaks online and you will see comparable ones going for 0 - 800+. I've never seen a bad review of this Kayak. Too bad the company does not make them now.
It is not a plastic kid's blow-up beach/pool toy. It is made of a denier nylon fabric on top and underneath is a harder plastic coated material. It is easy to transport around and folds up to fit in a large duffel bag. It weights under 30 lbs. Great for all kinds of waterway adventures.
It is in very good shape like new, no leaks that I am aware of. It has been in storage for a couple of years. The last time I pumped it up it seemed perfect.The photos were taken then.
I did notice that the one end of the oar/paddle pole does not fit into the paddle part because it has become out-of-round by something heavy squished it- oval now. An easy fix I think -- just put it on a vice and make it round again (or just replace it). All pockets and zippers work. The foot bellows pump works great but is a little bit of a workout. I just bought a small rechargeable inflation/deflation pump - so that's included too.
It deflates manually in no time (maybe 2 minutes or less if you treat it like a toothpaste tube and fold it up as it deflates.
I'm including a life vest but if I bought this I would invest in a new one for safety sake since this has been in storage and I don't know if the internal materials in the vest deteriorate over time. It's very hard to capsize/flip-over when you are in it, but if it does happen it is designed to let you slip out with no obstacles for your legs. You are not "sealed" in it.
