Cucumber Seed Oil is cold pressed from the cleaned and dried seeds of cucumbers. It is then carefully filtered to obtain a brilliant, clear yellow oil.
Cucumber Seed Oil possesses a remarkable amount of phytosterols. Studies indicate that phytosterols help the skin strengthen its lipid barrier, restoring proper moisture balance, smoothing the skins surface and improving skin elasticity. Phytosterols are also known for their ability to nourish and stimulate the skin cells to encourage regeneration of healthy skin cells.

Cucumber Seed Oil’s Benefits
Cucumbers provide health benefits from head to toe, inside and out. Nutritionally they contain vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, calcium, and potassium. Cucumber is good to use on the skin, in the hair and even on your nails. Many people like to apply cucumber slices to their eyes to reduce puffiness, but you can also apply it to other areas of the face and neck and by doing this, the astringent properties in cucumbers draw out dirt and cleanse the pores making it a popular ingredient in oily or acne prone natural skin care products. Precaution & Tips:
Before using Cucumber seed oil, do a patch test by applying about ¼ tsp on your inner arm. If there’s irritation within 1-2 hours, do not use the oil.
Be careful if using this oil on oily/acne prone skin because it may clog pores.
There are no reported side effects of using Cucumber seed oil however, pregnant/nursing mothers should be on the safe side and consult their doctors before use.
