Vintage sterling silver thimble
It is signed JS&S and has British hallmarks and markings for Birmingham
Delicate hand painted blue enamel floral design around
It is hallmarked to the inside of the crown for Birmingham
with the maker’s mark of James Swann & Son
Unfortunately, there’s no indication of the thimble’s size but the measurements are given below
7/8'' tall; 5/8” internally across the opening
The thimble is in very good vintage condition with no holes or dents
and the rim is undamaged and round
In excellent undamaged condition. Has a small patch in the enamel by rim (
