    Please be sure to review all my other auctions after you have looked at this one!  I will be listing a broad and diverse range of vintage communications and technology items, related books, periodicals and ephemera...  Something for everyone!
    Here is a chance to bid on a one-of-a-kind, awesome piece of Naval wireless communication history!  This is an Outstanding, Original Hard Bound Copy Of "U.S. Navy Radio Receiver Type SE 1220 (Range 300 to 6800 Meters) Description And Operating Instructions"!  If you own a Navy SE 1220 Receiver this most likely will be your only opportunity to get such a complimentary item!!
    The operating manual, produced by The Radio Test Shop, U.S. Navy Yard Washington D.C., goes in to great detail describing the Type SE 1220 receiver and its use in the field with both crystal detectors and audion detectors.  Also included are detailed schematics and pictures.  There are a total of 16 individual pages, two pages for notes and dimensions are about 8.5" x 10.75".
    This piece is nearly MINT!  It really doesn't show much evidence of age!  The stiches in the binding are remarkable!  It has matured beautifully, and even "smells" proper! :)  There is one area on the edge of the cover that is torn about .75".  It is shown in the last picture...
    I have tried to take good photographs, and they represent the condition accurately! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask...
