This vintage sterling silver thimble has opalescent enameled sides with folk art style flowers in shades of blue and gold.
Inside the top are the English sterling hallmarks for Birmingham 1975 and the maker's mark for James Swann & Son
.
The silver and enamel are in excellent condition with no chips, dents or loss. It's about an American size 10 (16.5 mm diameter opening).
