Vintage Olds Ambassador Cornet, # 17789, (1947) LA horn W/case and Mouthpiece

Description

Very nice vintage Olds Ambassador Cornet, serial # 17789, which dates to 1947, which also makes it a Los Angeles Horn. The serial number on the exterior of #2 valve is difficult to read, but the interior valves are numbered, and match . Also, the engraving on the bell is difficult to read, I suspect the horn was re-laquered at some time, and it filled the engraving. The horn is clean, plays well, has good valve operation and the slides all move. The case is newer, probably from the 60's, is clean and functional, with a replacement handle, but no breaks observed- there is a piece of tape on the bottom, but it does not seem to cover a break. The mouthpiece is a very nice Vincent Bach Corp. 7C.  Neat Horn, ready to play.  Shipping to lower 48 only.
