    Vintage Simons Brothers Sterling Silver Thimble  Liberty Bell *76* w/ Crack Design
    This is a vintage Simons Bros. Sterling silver thimble…Liberty Bell *76* with crack design…wide flared rim.
    The thimble is marked “STERLING SILVER” and has the Simons Brothers maker’s mark on inside top…Liberty Bell *76* with crack design…raised text on recessed darkened background…no size mark noticed…wide flared rim…see my pics.  The thimble is in excellent vintage condition with no holes...slight age and use wear.  This wonderful thimble makes a nice addition to your collection.
    The thimble is pictured on page 85 [8], American Silver Thimbles by Gay Ann Rogers.
