I have only used this once so far but it performed exactly for what I bought it for. To clean up small limbs that come down after storms and strong winds without filling up my containers. I have 1 1/2 acres so I get a lot of limbs. Make no mistake, it is a lightweight unit but it handled limbs up to 3/4' effortlessly the one time I have used it, and that wasn't even on my property! Took it over to help my brother who had a bunch come down after a storm. Easy to transport, but I would be careful loaning it out.

I've only used it for a few runs but I'm pleased with the chipper. I have large trees in the back yard that drop small branches frequently. I needed a way to rid myself of them in a more productive way than hiding them under other lawn debris in the paper town bags. It appears to take branches that aren't positively poker straight and that's great. It does make some noise but it's getting the job done for me. I have the added benefit of chips to dump around the backyard plantings. Great little machine!

I am very pleased with the product it preformed real well. The only dislike I have is the knifes are not hardened so they will not last long if you put in in dry limbs. I had to turn the knifes after one our of use. But in green wood it performs real well. Maybe Wen could offer harden knifes as option. Still very good for the money.

Works the way I expected for the many twigs and small branches I get in my yard. But it does not work on the larger (greater than 1' diameter) branches very well - which is fine with me. The feeder lock requires 38 turns to completely lock. Couldn't they have made it 15 or less?

Great handy shredder/chipper for gardens, pots or compost. This is a powerful shredder and is pretty easy to use. Ive had no major issues with it so far, other than typical issues with getting every little branch to shred. It makes a fine mulch (see picture) which is great for gardening. Small twigs about 1/16' in diameter wont always shred perfectly. You will have to shred A LOT of branches to make enough for a medium to large garden bed but this is great for small jobs. The largest branch I put in was just over an inch in diameter and it mulched fine. WEN states this works with up to 1.5 inches in diameter. If the branch won't fit in the entry hole, the machine isn't meant to shred it. The harder the wood, like maple and oak, the more the machine works to shred it. I also shredded a 1' x 1' scrap piece of pine and it worked fine. It comes with a clog clearer and handy bag for all the mulch to go into. The wheels on the shredder are great for moving it easily around the yard.

The 15 AMP ROLLING ELECTRIC WOOD CHIPPER AND SHREDDER by WEN is a terrific product! We love the safety features, the size and weight, the ease of use. We spent the afternoon chipping/shredding both old limbs we planned to burn in late spring as well as the 'green' limbs we had cut from a serious trimming of our ancient apple tree! The WEN chipper/shredder had absolutely no problem destroying everything we fed it. The chipper/shredder grabs hold and 'sucks' the limbs right down into the machine. There is a specially designed bag that catches the wood chips that is easy to carry and deposit the mulch wherever it is needed. We have a LOT of mature trees on our property, so this has been a very welcome addition to our tools. We've gotten several WEN products now and have been very pleased with all of them.
