Description
A classical whitewater kayak, a Lettmann Mark IV, designed by Klaus Lettmann for the 1972 Olympics. It was laid up in the mid-70’s using nylon and e-glass cloths and a 2-part marine epoxy.This boat has been used to run most of the most difficult rapids in the Eastern U.S. and Canada. It is solid. All structural damage was repaired as it occurred. It is in great condition.
It has flotation bags fore and aft and interior bracing to withstand the pressures of really violent, big-water rapids. Recently painted. A strong, neoprene spray-skirt and a cockpit cover are included.
