The YCR-4330GSII is the 2nd generation of the classic
4330 series cornet
that Yamaha of Japan
manufactures
in China as of March 2012.
The GII sound
improves upon the
original G by
featuring hand lapped valves and slides, like
on its professional series, and a
seamless laser welded gold brass bell capable
of producing a crisper, more open
sizzle
. Although
considered an
intermediate
cornet,
differentiating
the
YCR-4330GSII
from
professional
models
in
a
blindfolded test would be challenging.
