H.N. WHITE'S "KING SILVER-TONE CORNET, MODEL #1065
Serial #147,586, circa 1934, Medium Bore .458
The Sterling Silver Bell is HEAVILY engraved by hand and the engraving
is like it just came from the factory. Outside and inside of the Bell is "VERMEIL"
French term for "Silver which has been gilded with Gold" or Silver-Gilt, higher
quality than gold plating. Art-Deco w/flowers.
Cornet is polished silver, NOT LACQUERED and the rim
of the bell is rolled back.
The King Cornet comes with two (2) King mouthpieces, a 7K and a 7M.
Also a pair of white gloves in which to practice with, I do ALL the time.
NOT the original case BUT, a like new hard case with black velvet interior.
